Welcome to Day 7 of Young Toddler Valentine’s Day Activities.
Day 7: Window Art
One of my favorite crafty things that I must have in the house is clear contact paper. I know it’s a bit weird, but you can do so much with it!
This is an activity that I’ve done with J several times and it’s always a hit.
It’s simple. Tape clear contact paper, sticky side out, to a window. Cut hearts out of construction paper and tissue paper. Let child stick the hearts to the contact paper. Instant Valentine’s Day Art!
Here is J at 14 months doing this activity on the refrigerator. J played with it on and off for an entire week before he got bored with it.
This is a perfect activity for babies up to school-aged children. It’s a simple, mess free way of making beautiful art!
Now that Valentine’s season has ended, what design are you going to put on that window? Those cuddly kids look very interested in window art, hehehe. I’m sure they’d be very interested in designing windows with glow-in-the-dark materials, don’t you think?
