Again, I found three posts from last week’s party that really spoke to me. Let me share why.
1. How to Encourage Your Child to Play Independently: Octavia and Vicky – I’ve thought about writing a similar post, but every time I feel like I’ve figured this out, J starts becoming super needy. I love her tips and plan on using some myself!
2. Sometimes You Need to Say YES!: The Educator’s Spin on It – I try to say Yes more than no, but sometimes I just don’t want to say yes. The story in this post explains why saying yes can be so great for both child and parent. A great reminder for me!
3. Today I Celebrate {Birth Story}: The Good Long Road – Jennifer explains her feelings about her son’s birth that didn’t go the way she imagined. This really spoke to me because J’s birth didn’t really go the way I wanted it to and it turned out pretty scary for both of us. With the new baby coming soon, I am a bit worried, scared, and uncertain about his birth. I found comfort in her honest emotions.
1. Any parenting post is welcome. Humorous, helpful, inspiring, or a tear-jerker, they are all welcome. Please do not add activity posts…those can go over here at The Kid’s Co-Op.
2. Please grab a button (on my sidebar) and add it to your post so that others know about the party too.
3. We have a great Pinterest board that we share many of posts linked up. I also have a Parenting Help board that has tons of posts (and followers) that your post my pop up on.
4. By linking up you agree that the co-hosts of the party may use one picture from your post as a feature.
5. Try to take the time to check out the other posts linked up!
Great features!! The Birth Story post really spoke to me too.
