The Birth of Baby E

I don’t know about you, but I really enjoy reading birth stories.  I believe that a child’s birth is one of the most amazing things ever.  Every time a child is born, a woman is changed forever.  In spite of all the pain and yuckiness, childbirth is truly beautiful.

I’ve wanted to share the birth of Baby E for a while now, but wasn’t sure that this blog was the best place for it.  So, I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to share my story over at Sisters Raising Sisters on their Every Birth is Beautiful Series.   All month long they’ve opened their blog to women who want to share their childbirth experiences.

Well….today is my day.  I must admit that I’m a bit nervous.  The day Baby E was born was a pretty scary day for me and I was a bit…what’s the word?….raw.  Now that the post has been written and posted, I’m feeling a bit vulnerable.  Honestly,  I’m a bit anxious about having pictures of me during child birth posted on the internet, but I did it because I thought that they showed the true emotion and pain of childbirth.  Sharing this story makes me feel a bit exposed, but it’s a story that I love, and one I want to share.  Let me know what you think, and be gentle please.

Ready?  Hop on over to Sister’s Raising Sisters today to read it.  I hope you enjoy.

Awh! Wow. So wonderful. What an accomplishment – and beautiful post. (And the photos are amazing.) I love birth stories (I just experienced my very own a month ago. It’s amazing how birth addicted you get after you have a baby), thank you for sharing yours. 🙂
