Frog Sensory Tray

This is one of those last minute, throw it together, sensory boxes.  I’m sad to say that I have a lot of those these days.  Fortunately, this one turned out to be awesome!

The box consisted of:

  • River rocks
  • Moss rocks
  • Leaves
  • Neon frogs
  • Blue, glitter, goo (found at the dollar spot at Target)

His favorite part was sticking things in the goo!

This just shows that you don’t have to rack your brain coming up with great sensory boxes for kids.  I often just grab stuff that kind of follows a theme and throw it in a box.  Most of the time they turn out pretty fun.  This was one of those times.

What a wonderful way to explore a frog’s habitat.
