We’ve been back from Texas for a couple weeks now, but I still haven’t posted about some of the fun stuff I did with J and my nephew when we were there!
I tried to do some fun activities with J while we were in Texas, but we were so busy that I didn’t get a chance do as much as I would have liked. But, one of the first things I did when I got to my brother’s house was make homemade playdough.
T is my nephew who is just 6 months older that J. Got to love having cousins so close in age.
I sat J and T across from each other at the table gave them a blop of playdough and a spoon. That’s all it took and the two of them were having a blast!
A decent amount of noodles ended up outside the tubs, but that’s ok, they had fun!
I love setting up activities for J, but I love it even more when I get to include other children as well…especially my nephew!
Thrills my soul to see them playing happily together. Love my Grandboys!
What a great idea to use noodles, I love it! My son likes to eat the rice in the rice tub(as well as spread it and drive his cars through it) and the borghul in his pouring work so this way the eating bit wouldn’t be so bad. Maybe a good outdoors tub…..!Mykids never have warmed to the idea of keeping things in the tub.Talk about fully immersing yourself in your work…….
The dyed noodles is a great idea! I’m assuming by the picture that you cooked them as well. What did you use to dye them with?
