Getting Organized Monday: Small Things Organizing

Each Monday I’m going to be posting something that can help you organize your home. I think that being organized really helps to run a household…especially with little kids running around.

This week…Containing The Small Things

Do you have a bunch of small kid things that need containing?  Think legos, beans for sensory trays, crayons, small animals, magnetic letters…etc. If all the pieces are not organized together, than a child can’t play with them.  Then they just become junk taking up space and can really bog down a play area.

But, the smallest toys are often the hardest ones to contain.

Robin @ The Heart of Wisdom has a great solution!

folgertoylabels

Get a Folgers Coffee can, print off a FREE label from her site, cut and paste onto can, then fill!  So easy and a wonderful way of containing all those small toys!

What do you think?  Do you have a great way of organizing all your kids little things?

Oh, I love it. I also but pop top mayo containers because they are clear and are great for holding smaller amount of small toys ( like tiny farm animals or squinkies). I like the idea of your series. Organization is never-ending around here.
