I have a confession to make….my husband and I hoard cardboard boxes. Really, we have lots and lots of boxes. Most of them are broken down and stored away, but we’ve had a few good boxes in the garage that haven’t been torn down. I’ve been staring at this pile o’ boxes for a while now, trying to figure out what sort of game I could make out of them. Well today it hit me…a cardboard box treasure hunt!
I set it up during nap time and put it outside…the weather here is beautiful…even in January.
This is what J saw after nap.
Hum…I wonder what’s inside?
A box full of boxes!
Inside each box was a favorite toy! I think I had 10 toys and boxes.
Of course we had to stop and play with each toy before proceeding to the next box. I thought he’d never come back after he found his popper!
And what’s that in the last box?
Our afternoon snack of course!
Why not have a snack in a box!?
