J’s new favorite word is bubbles and will often ask to blow bubbles or add bubbles to his bath water. So, I decided that we needed a sensory tub of bubbles.
I took the new plastic bin I bought for my light box and filled it with warm water, dish soap, and blue food coloring. I do this activity on a pretty regular basis, and it never looses it’s charm. He always seems to find a new way of playing with the water. Today it was all about filling containers and pouring.
I was so impressed that he was able to pour the water so accurately into a cup. He filled the cup all the way up and then poured it in the tub.
J then decided that he needed his plates and bowls as well.
After about 30 minutes he signed “All Done” and then asked to play in his Halloween Sensory Tray that I haven’t taken apart yet. I love that he loves his sensory trays so much. Check them all out here.
water play is the best! looks like some major fun! thanks for linking this up to last week’s tip-toe thru tuesday party! i hope to see you again this week!
