J is into anything that has to do with trucks and trains. He especially loves truck books. Here are a few of his favorites at the moment. J is 23 months old this month, but these books are great for lots of ages.
Red Truck, by Kersten Hamilton, is probably top of the list. We read this book over and over again throughout the day. It’s a wonderful book all about a tow truck (Red Truck) coming to the rescue! We often hear “Red Truck!” being yelled from J’s room at bedtime. He LOVES this book!
I Love Trucks, by Philemon Sturges, is one book in a series of transportation books. It’s a simple book about all different types of trucks and their jobs.
Smash! Crash!, by Jon Scieszka, is a fun book about two trucks causing chaos around town. It’s a part of a series of books called Trucktown. I haven’t read the others, but I probably will considering how much J likes this one!
Trucks roll! by George Ella Lyon, features tractor trailer trucks. It shows the job of truckers and their child themed cargo.
I hope this list helps you find some great books for your truck lover!
Our guys are 15 months and love the Little Blue Truck books (there are two, one about farm animals helping each other, another about city vehicles taking turns).
