This year has been a crazy one for my family and this blog. I had a baby, our family moved to another state, J has become a preschooler, and I had to take an extended blogging break due to it all.
It’s been a bit of a whirlwind and I can’t believe that 2013 is over. Seriously, where did the time go?
The highlight of my year was having Baby E and making him a part of our family.
Somehow I blinked, and Baby E will be turning one in a couple weeks (ACK!). It’s been fun to look back over his first year on the blog. We’ve done some really fun activities and I’ve had some new parenting adventures, but it’s the activities I’ve loved the most. We had some great fun playing in water, he played in his first sensory box, and I’ve made some fun toys for him too.
But my favorite activity we’ve done was his sensory crawl. It was his first sensory activity and he had so much fun with it. I loved watching him play and seeing him experience sounds and textures that he hadn’t experienced before. It was simple to put together and was super engaging for him. What a year you’ve had! I’m so impressed with all that you share and do through your blog. I love seeing the fabulous activities you do with your kiddos and the baby sensory crawl was a great choice.
