11 Ways to Build a Road

My 3 year old is always asking me to build him a road, and man have we built some roads.  I’ve made them with chalk, on big sheets of paper, and even masking tape.  I’m slowly running out of ideas, so I looked to my blogger friends to help me out.

    What a great post! I love roads and creative play for children. It opens the world up for them and allows us to see what they know 🙂

    Some great ideas. I drew a road onto a shower curtain with permanent marker and the kids in my preschool room love it. We put it on the table as this is where they seemed to enjoy driving the cars. We found that it is a good idea to attach masking tape to the table to stop it from constantly slipping off

      That is a great idea! I’ve done a few roads for my son before, but not on a shower curtain. That’s pretty brilliant!
