My 3 year old is always asking me to build him a road, and man have we built some roads. I’ve made them with chalk, on big sheets of paper, and even masking tape. I’m slowly running out of ideas, so I looked to my blogger friends to help me out.
Oh man, did they come through! Here are my favorite ways to build roads. I hope you enjoy these ideas as much as I do.

What a great post! I love roads and creative play for children. It opens the world up for them and allows us to see what they know 🙂
What a fun idea for a round-up! Love it and thank you for including us. Pinning! 🙂
Some great ideas. I drew a road onto a shower curtain with permanent marker and the kids in my preschool room love it. We put it on the table as this is where they seemed to enjoy driving the cars. We found that it is a good idea to attach masking tape to the table to stop it from constantly slipping off
That is a great idea! I’ve done a few roads for my son before, but not on a shower curtain. That’s pretty brilliant!
